Before the 1920 women didnt work outside of their home. 23,000 were women shipment collectors, steel milll workers, & nurses. Women who worked out the home moved form domestic services to industrial jobs. 1920 brought new cultural additions. Now women took up smoking, change the importance & their dress length became shorter. After the 19th amendment women succeeded in male jobs.

Stock market crashes, marking the beggining of the Great Depression.
