This article speaks to the often under-valued contributions women make.  I haven't experienced the problem described here too often, 'though know it is a reality for many. In my former work in a woman-owned company, we started keeping a "favors given and received" log to track requests to and from friend companies. It was a helpful way to remind us to ask for favors in return and to make sure we were reciprocating when we asked for help. Would that work at the personal level, too? What has your experience been?
