The Rhode Island Health Department confirmed this morning that the body pulled out of the Providence River at India Point Park on Tuesday night is that of missing Brown University student Sunil Tripathi.

The synthesis between the pursuit of justice and media reporting can be tragedy. Neither justice nor media necessarily embraces the truth. Collateral damage can be a young man in a river. And another family in mourning.
