Mosaic Records will release eight new boxed sets of reissued albums culled from the Sony Records catalog. The multi-disc packages will feature between four and 19 CDs each, most housed in replicas of the original album artwork. The sets will be available June 12. They are:

Billie Holiday—Lady Day: The Complete Columbia 1933-44

This 10-CD set contains all 153 songs recorded by Holiday for Vocalion, Brunswick, Columbia and OKeh between 1933 and ’42. Most were recorded under her or Teddy Wilson's leadership with all-star small groups that include Ben Webster, Lester Young, Chu Berry, Benny Goodman, Bunny Berigan, Roy Eldridge and Buck Clayton, among others. Programmed at the end of the set are the 69 surviving alternate takes and eight rarities. These recordings have been newly transferred in 24 bit from metal parts, shellac and lacquers.
