The researchers point out that fatty liver disease can result from overindulging in carbohydrates. They suggest avoiding refined sugars that increase blood insulin levels quickly, but note that there are complex carbohydrates—such as those in legumes, fruits, and vegetables—that should be part of a healthy diet. Nursing home has no staff for 10.5 hours a day

Nursing home has no staff for 10.5 hours a day | Health and Ageing | Scoop.it
A Gold Coast aged care home failed to roster staff for duty between 8pm and 6.30am, leading to residents wandering and falling, an audit has found.
Kirrina's insight:

Queensland nursing homes are continually understaffed. eg  Resident's relative tried to get through to home to check on elderly parent.....no answer....not one person answered the phone.  It's a farce, when nursing home management continually appoint, and "promote" staff roles that bring no value to care at the coal face. Govt will fail again in getting the money to where it is really needed...Leadership courses are not needed action is needed.
