Le constat central est bien résumé par Kirit Joshi de DDEX et SONY DADC : Metadata has become the product – La métadonnée est devenue le produit. Personne pour s’y opposer. Rare unanimité. Rappelons que nous avons ici les majors, les services en-ligne, les grands groupes technologiques (Apple et Google sont là, ne serait-ce que par leur implication aux conseils des initiatives DDEX et GRD), mais aussi les défenseurs de la collaboration et de l’open source. Rare unanimité sur un autre constat : les métadonnées sont mal foutues, l’enjeu est titanesque et la collaboration sera inévitable…
