Authentic Kosher Wine Made in Le Marche - The Type of Wine Jews Have Been Drinking in Italy Since Antiquity

Authentic Kosher Wine Made in Le Marche - The Type of Wine Jews Have Been Drinking in Italy Since Antiquity | Wines and People | Scoop.it

Sentieri Ebraici means paths of the Jew. In the Le Marche region of Italy, Jews have been engaged in agricultural pursuits, including wine making and olive production, since antiquity. All our wines are made from grapes indigenous to the Le Marche region and, other than the sparkling wine, are wines Jews have been drinking for more than 1000 years.
The label takes its design from the Katuba of Meir ben Mordechai to Consuela bat David, married in 5507 in Le Marche. The Katuba is in the collection of the Nahon Museum of Italian Jewish Art in Jerusalem.

Mariano Pallottini's insight:

Conti degli Azzoni is a winery that produces wine for many generations in the heart of the Marche, in the province of Macerata. The farm spread over 850 acres of which 130 are vineyard. The wine is made in the cellar of Montefano.
