La Canosa, Rotella: Apennine terroir of Le Marche | Wines and People | Scoop.it

La Canosa Estate was founded by Riccardo Reina in the town of Rotella in the southern Marche region. Enclosed between the impressive Apennines and the Adriatic Sea, on the charming hills of the Sibillini National Park area, the property covers a total of 100 hectares, 25 of which are planted with indigenous Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Pecorino and Passerina vines. Climate, exposure, soil and grapes growing at low environmental impact are the main factors affecting the quality of the wines.
