Many moons ago, in my youth, it was the pre-night club drink of choice among my peers. Red wine and cola, colloquially known a Calimocho, is being targeted by Spodee with a fortified red wine designed for mixing.
The article compares it to depression-era wine, but personally I think it's more like desperation era marketing.
What do you think? Fizzy water, sugar and caffeine anybody??? Surely that would never take off.
