Organización Soriana, which together with the Mexican company GEMEX and Swiss investment company Grupo ECOS make Tamaulipas Wind Company SA de CV (CETSA), announces the construction of its first wind farm in the Ejido El Porvenir in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, with Vestas turbines.
The American Development Bank (NADB) and Grupo Financiero Banorte (Banorte) CETSA financed for the wind project.
Wind power will be purchased by Organización Soriana, commercial sector company in Mexico, as part of a power purchase agreement in the long term in order to contribute actively to the development of renewable and sustainable energy while reducing costs power to buy the energy generated by a scheme CETSA sufficiency.
"This energy use in Soriana supplies 163 business units spread across the country, representing stop emitting 100,000 tonnes of CO2 per year, equivalent to removing 29,000 cars in one year.
