Wild Animals Loose in the Library!
Join us for stories and songs about wild animals!

Early Literacy Tip: Most of these stories (for ages 4-5) were chosen for their emphasis on rhyme and repetition. Rhyming and repetitive stories introduce kids to words they may not have heard before, as well as helping to develop comprehension through visualization (source: http://www.litforlife.com/rhyming.htm).

There are more stories and activities here than can fit into half an hour, but they were added so that the storyteller can pick and choose depending on group dynamics.
