During lectures, it's hard for every student to let you know if they understand or if they're confused. Especially in large classes, many students are reluctant to express their confusion which limits both their learning and their enjoyment. Understoodit addresses this issue by allowing students to anonymously, and in real-time, indicate, via their devices such as smartphones, tablets and netbooks, if they understand or are confused... Maybe you want create your own infographic, here 10 tools to support you to do it. [note mg]
Information graphics, visual representations of data known as infographics, keep the web going these days. Web users, with their diminishing attention spans, are inexorably drawn to these shiny, brightly coloured messages with small, relevant, clearly-displayed nuggets of information. They’re straight to the point, usually factually interesting and often give you a wake-up call as to what those statistics really mean.
Who can resist a colourful, thoughtful venn diagram anyway? In terms of blogging success, infographics are far more likely to be shared than your average blog post. This means more eyeballs on your important information, more people rallying for your cause, more backlinks and more visits to your blog. In short, a quality infographic done well could be what your blog needs right now.

http://www.ted.com How do we consume data? At TED@SXSWi, technologist JP Rangaswami muses on our relationship to information, and offers a surprising and sharp insight: we treat it like food.
So if you think of your relationship with information like food, what will you do differently? I think it's a great analogy, and reminds me the Information Diet book by Clay Johnson. Because that's all about curation is. Taking care of what you are able to "digest", what "feeds" you. Good information allows you not only to feel well, but to feel better day after day and connect with others (food is one of the best social breaker in the world, don't you think?)
But curation is not a diet to try, it could just be a tremendous lifestyle to adopt for good.

Student as Producer is about challenging the concept of higher education, changing how learning takes place, and how academics and students can work together. - http://studentasproducer.lincoln.ac.uk/
Student as Producer restates the meaning and purpose of higher education by reconnecting the core activities of universities, i.e., research and teaching, in a way that consolidates and substantiates the values of academic life. The core values of academic life are reflected in the quality of students that the University of Lincoln aims to produce. Student as Producer emphasises the role of the student as collaborators in the production of knowledge. The capacity for Student as Producer is grounded in the human attributes of creativity and desire, so that students can recognise themselves in a world of their own design.
