Afghan Members of Parliament have approved the Anti-Money Laundering Law on Monday after the intergovernmental Financial Action Task Force (FATF) warned the Afghan government that if the legislation is not passed soon, Afghanistan will be added to a blacklist that could halt foreign investment in the country and have devastating effects on its national economy.

Companies are putting out about the same effort to combat corruption and fraud, but executives believe the incidence of fraud is growing, suggesting some compliance fatigue may be setting in. According to EYs biannual global fraud survey, the number of U.S. executives who said that their company experienced a serious fraud doubled from 8 percent in 2012 to 16 percent in 2014.
