It's like our Greek poet Kavafes said: The journey matters and not Ithaka.

I had an interesting chat with some ladies in their early 20s a few days ago and when discussing the idea of finding strength when being vulnerable they freaked out.
Brene Brown has an amazing view about vulnerability which I agree with - If you're scared of sharing your vulnerabilities the more you shun and hide them. It certainly doesn't help you love that they exist in your life to begin to address the road towards improvement. Loving those vulnerabilities gives courage to say, "This is ME. And I am ready to grow to a ME in the way I choose!" Enjoy! Delete the scoop?

This is a great analysis at life. Yes, we don't really have to make life complicated to be happy. I often tell this to a lot of people who even forget how to laugh in one day. Ironically, they realized that they have grown old earlier because they have forgotten how to be happy....

Too true ... Someone who shares similar values with you will naturally love, be affectionate and pay attention without being asked. Even better, they are being themselves so the challenge to you is to be yourself! Delete the scoop?

I often hear, "I don't want to trust too quickly because I'll get hurt". What I find interesting is that we hold so much back because we fear getting hurt because we get judged or laughed at. But for those who put themselves out there (guys and girls), they gain the greatest rewards in forging great relationships through effort and perseverence. The thing we seldom acknowledge is that they are still scared of being hurt - they just choose to go through with it anyway ... Delete the scoop?

Yes, walking away from someone who hurt you is bravery. It takes a lot of guts to say that you are leaving.

Sad but true, many people end up in the wrong partners, but this is life and we have to live it the way it is....

Sometimes people forget that it the Heart that is the source of your desires - the job of the Brain is to work out how to get you there. If you let your Brain drive, nothing gets done because it's too busy trying to protect you.
