There are several reasons why you would be thinking to use collaborative white boards in your classroom . As a teacher, you can use these collaborative web tools to explain abstract hard to grasp concepts to your students through diagrams, illustrative drawings, mindmaps...etc .
You can also use them to get students working collaboratively on a classroom project.The cool thing about these collaborative whiteboard tools is that they are web-based and therefore do not require any software installation and you can access them anywhere with internet connection. My Thoughts: You can't teach someone how to learn. You can give them helpful tips and advice, but a single structure for education is not going to work for everyone. It's so much harder for people to learn their true potential, to reach their goals, when they're only shown a single path to them. You show them the path through the forest, but what if there's a rock face nearby that also leads up to where they want to go, and what if they happen to be a fantastic rock climber? It just makes more sense to show someone a map if you can, instead of directing them towards only one path.

G+ is catching up big time for many reasons. Among these reasons is the Hangout integration.
We just facilitated a remote 1.5 day leadership development session with Hangouts and it was fantastic.

Though I do not have a Twitter, I find this very interesting. I think that if teachers did end up using this the kids who do have a twitter would get more involved in the assignment, but I'm not sure what they'd do with the kids like me would do during this lesson. Overall, I think this is a really cool and unique idea that could probably done with other social networking sites aswell. Delete the scoop?

Brown’s wireless BCI, fashioned out of hermetically sealed titanium, looks a lot like a pacemaker. Inside there’s a li-ion battery, an inductive (wireless) charging loop, a chip that digitizes the signals from your brain, and an antenna for transmitting those neural spikes to a nearby computer.
The BCI is connected to a small chip with 100 electrodes protruding from it, which, in this study, was embedded in the somatosensory cortex or motor cortex.
These 100 electrodes produce a lot of data, which the BCI transmits at 24Mbps over the 3.2 and 3.8GHz bands to a receiver that is one meter away.
