XiStera is a new Kickstarter crowdfunded project for a physical adapter for iPhone 5 units capable of working as
From the Kickstarter page: "Xistera is a stainless steel component over molded with TPV Santoprene, a very rigid and shiny rubber that is recyclable and very friendly where it comes in contact with your iPhone. The Stainless steel support for the stylus and bottle opener never touches your phone casing." Lots of interesting options available to back up the project. iPhone 4 users: nothing is lost. A note on the bottom of the page hints at a possible version if the project gets good funding. In schools across Australia there is strong support for linking learning in Technologies with learning literacy skills. Learning in Technologies places a high priority on accurate and unambiguous communication (ACARA, 2013).Implementing digital technologies in learning areas such as English allows special education teachers to facilitate and accommodate the learning needs of students. This is achieved through integrating assistive devices such as the iPad and its applications to develop critical literacy skills needed in the 21st century. Consequently special education teacher have a better opportunity to develop important General capabilities such as literacy (LIT) to allows student to become literate as they develop the knowledge, skills and dispositions to interpret and use language confidently for learning and communicating in and out of school and for participating effectively in society (ACARA, 2013).
This website suggests various applications that can be used on the ipad to assist special needs students. The list of applications were selected to improve and develop students reading, writing and spelling. They engage the students through making the activities, fun and engaging, which I think is important when teaching special needs students. Delete the scoop?

How much does it really cost to publish your own book? Miral Sattar, on PBS Mediashift, provides a very useful article outlining eight main expenditure areas and providing some indication of what the cost of doing these activities may be for an independent self-publisher. From formatting to getting reviews, the article properly identifies all of the work steps needed to professionally publish a book without going to partner with a traditional book publisher. I found this resource to be very useful, not so much for the precise cost ranges listed, but more for outlining so clearly to new would-be self-published book authors, how much work and how many people have been traditionally involved in this process. While I firmly believe that today it is not necessary at all to involve all the professionals listed in this article, it is also true that for most people it is really a must to have someone checking his writing style, editing work and helping out with formatting and graphics before even considering to distribute a new book. It should be kept in mind though that there are certainly also new alternatives for proofreading, editing and vetting your content, as well as for getting beautifully designed covers that can get those more inclined to learn to save quite a bit of money and time. Useful. Informative. 7/10 Full article: http://www.pbs.org/mediashift/2013/05/the-real-costs-of-self-publishing-book Delete the scoop?

Screwpulp is a new startup that wants to help independent book authors to get their books out there (in digital format), and... if the public likes them, to make also a revenue from their sales. The business model is very interesting. It works like this: 1. Anyone can publish with Screwpulp and get an ebook out. 2. The first 100 copies of the copies are given out for free to individuals willing to review and rate the ebook. 3. The ebook now sells at 0.99 (or $1) until a thousand copies are sold. 4. Once a thousand copies are sold, price goes up to 1.99 until 10,000 are gone. And so on. Authors keep all of the rights to their works and retain 75 percent of the profit.
--> Backlinktest / per conoscere i link in entrata (collegamenti) verso il sito che intendi analizzare e sapere quali sono i siti che stanno linkando a quel sito, affinché tu possa verificarne l'interesse;
--> LikeAlyzer / per analizzare la tua Pagina Facebook e anche quella dei tuoi competitors e vedere quali azioni compiono gli utenti.
--> Google Trends / per comprendere l'interesse nei confronti di un certo argomento, verificare la popolarità degli argomenti di tuo interesse e analizzare le keywords che potrebbero aiutarti a migliorare il posizionamento sui motori di ricerca.
A lato di ogni tutorial puoi scaricare anche la Tabella Comparativa gratuita che ho preparato su questi e altri strumenti utili a:
- trovare una nicchia di mercato sul web;
- analizzare i concorrenti presenti in rete;
