britishroses's insight:

What a national disgrace! Disabled people as the government is well aware  are discriminated against on a daily basis in the job market, hell in every part of life, but then again that will happen because the government discriminates against disabled people.

I'm utterly disgusted at how horrendously the Tory government have treated sick and disabled people; what has happened to mankind that you stand by allowing this to happen? Jeremy Hunt: Abandon Plans to Publish Cost on NHS Medicines

Jeremy Hunt: Abandon Plans to Publish Cost on NHS Medicines | Welfare, Disability, Politics and People's Right's | Scoop.it
Many people rely on NHS prescriptions every day in order to stay alive. Others rarely take medicine even when their doctor advises and prescribes it for them. While we agree that there is much to be done to control the waste of NHS prescribed medication we believe printing the cost on packaging will have several negative results:

1. People who are already reluctant to take vital medication will have an even better excuse to ignore their doctor's advice - "I don't want to cost the NHS...

britishroses's insight:

We are so quick to jump on the tail coat's of America, why then have we not done that in relation to laws and acts in the treatment of people with disabilities?

Disabled people apply for disability social security with prove of disability provided by their doctors/specialists, you know the people who know them best, the ones who have had years of education and training in their specialized fields. Disabled people with a disability that there is no cure for and that would generally be expected to stay the same or get worse are rightly not required to reapply again for disability causing more illness and stress for the disabled person, wasting people's time and throwing away outrageous amounts of money or here in the UK funneling it to the private sector.
