The knives come out, with fears the party will never win an election again. But the new leader sticks to their guns. They doggedly push through, and cause the biggest ideological shift in the party’s history.

Anne Mendoza's curator insight, Today, 1:31 PM

Child poverty has been a growing conflict throughout the entire world, not just limiting to the less developed countries. As the years go by, it either goes up or down, many of which would never go away forever. In this article, it presents the child poverty problems around UK. With that, the issue of poverty has increased due to the raise in tax prices. Many have noted the various reasons to why poverty has been an issue and the major issue is due to families not being able to sustain themselves to pay for their living like their bills. Many of the children living in poverty also have a occurrence of only one member of the family working. With all these dominoes that stumble into more problems to the family, it causes the figures to report negative news.

There are many factors to why families fall into poverty, but one of the many are due to not being able to pay for their bills, child care, and etc. One does not simply exit poverty with easy steps, it takes a lot of support and management. As in support, government should help take a stand into getting families out of the depressing spiral of debt and poverty. Just like how America is aiding in providing benefits for the less fortunate like food stamps or medicare.

Judge removes child from disabled mother over costs of care

Judge removes child from disabled mother over costs of care | Welfare, Disability, Politics and People's Right's | Scoop.it
Boy removed from disabled mother’s care over costs as judge dismisses an allegation of ‘social engineering’
britishroses's insight:

This little boy should be all over the news! Support should be given to this mother to enable her to continue to care for HER child, it COST TOO  MUCH though, how much is it costing to take in all the refugees we are taking in? I'm all for helping people it's the right thing to do, however when sick and disabled people are having their social security cut to the extent they are told to wear incontinence pads so they don't have to have a carer when they are not incontinent, they are losing their homes thanks to the bedroom tax, their children are been taken away from them, thousands have lost their lives as proven with government statistics quietly released over a week ago, their independent living fund is being taken away to spend on other areas by councils because the government didn't ring fence the money causing untold distress and confinement and the list goes on. We should be taking care of our own and this should be all over the news so the public and the world know what is going on disabled people's rights have and are continuing to be eroded right here under our noises. We are not taking care of our own!
