The original research, conducted by Buddy Media, analysed 1800 Facebook pages of massive brands and measured the user engagement for 2 months after each moved to the new timeline (in April 2012).
And, in short, they found out the best day to lead discussion for each individual business sector.
Saturday and Sunday provide surprising peaks for Finance, Monday and Tuesday are unsurprising sporting highs (after a weekend of action) and Technology at weekends is a lost cause.
