Kiddle - visual search engine for kids

Kiddle - visual search engine for kids | Web 2.0 tools for Primary Children | Scoop.it

Most Kiddle search results are illustrated with big thumbnails, which makes it easier to scan the results, differentiate between them, and click the most appropriate results to your query. Thumbnails serve as visual clues and are especially beneficial to kids as they don't read as fast as adults.

Really useful guide to online presentation tools+

Roselink's curator insight, March 9, 4:19 PM

Not so much a 'Quick Guide' as an in depth guide, really! Looks of detailed explanation and screenshots giving a solid overview of a whole host of tools. Much more useful than a list as you can read and look and get a clear idea of what the tool is and how it might be used.

We grew up playing with toys that activated the most colorful realms of our imaginations. Our blocks were skyscrapers and galaxies — whatever we wanted them to be.
We’re creating elegant, educational iOS apps to spark the curiosity of kids around the world today.
In our apps, kids play and learn by diving into big ideas, seeing how things work, and making connections about the world they live in.
