Create Killer Presentations with Explain Everything | Web 2.0 for Education | Scoop.it

Explain Everything is a whiteboard and screencasting app that makes creating interactive lessons a simple proposition. Its full-featured editing options and its import/export functions allow it to stand apart from the other competitors

Via Baiba Svenca
Lee Hall's insight:

I don't usually include tools that cost, but Explain Everything is one app I was willing to purchase with my money. It lets you record a presentation and then export is as a mp4 to your camera roll, so you can share it with others. Great for the flipped classroom.

Three iPad Apps for Creating Multimedia eBooks - iPad Apps for School

Three iPad Apps for Creating Multimedia eBooks - iPad Apps for School | Web 2.0 for Education | Scoop.it
One of my favorite things about iPads and the web in general is the ease with which anyone can create a multimedia product. Teachers can create and organize multimedia reference materials for students and students can create multimedia products to show off their ideas. The following three iPad apps allow you and your students to create multimedia ebooks.

This is a very nice, organized table of iPad apps for use in the classroom.  If you are new to iPads in your classroom, this chart will be very helpful.  Mark even has a High Resolution version you can print.  I'll be sharing it with my colleagues in the College of Education at Kansas State University.  We are 1:1 iPads and our education Block instructors are really looking for ideas and apps to support their curriculum.

I think I am going to have some printed poster size to put up in various classrooms to help students decided on apps for projects or to serve as reminders.

Thanks Sean and Mark for creating both versions.
