As Common Core comes into play, you hear more and more people talking about competency education. A competency education allows students to progress at their speed. Students must demonstrate mastery of content, which are based on objectives. Teaching truly becomes more personalized when you consider competency education. This infographic explores competency education, comparing it to traditional education in three areas: curriculum, class completion, and average time to graduate.
