Event promotions across LinkedIn is not so difficult. Yes, it takes time to work a plan but it's worth it in the end - not only for attendee registrations but also ROI.

Carla Deter's insight:
For some time I've been a frequent user of #linkedin. During this time I've taken a great fondness (no, seriously love) for the platform. Every day is new learning of all the hidden strategies that are available. The layers of search and filter ability goes deep and being certain your profile will be found is key! A well developed LinkedIn profile can do many things: solidify the branding of YOU, bring buyers to you and your products/service, expose a company in a well formatted, key word rich manner that gets your product or service to the top of search results. People are using the search abilities every second of every day and having your profile work for you is the super important part. I love developing individual and company profiles from a multitude of industries. The most rewarding experience is when someone has decided on a job change and they realize their online LinkedIn presence is now very important! The preparation of the profile along with a well written resume compliments and is imperative to job hunters moreso now than ever.

A new study has found young adults, especially millennials who grew up with smartphones, iPads and other digital gizmos and gadgets, are increasingly tech savvy; but many who fall into this category also think technology is making people less human in the process.
The study was commissioned by Intel Corporation and conducted by Penn Schoen Berland, and it looked at global attitudes toward technology innovation challenges and existing perceptions. The research found millennials (aged 18 to 24) are the least enthusiastic about technology today but yet are actually optimistic for future technology, especially those that could deliver a more personalized experience.
In other words, millennials may be taking much of the technology they grew up with for granted, but are still somewhat excited by tomorrow’s advances.
The “Intel Innovation Barometer” further revealed the millennials globally show a stark contrast to their reputation as digital natives who can’t get enough of the high-tech stuff in their lives. In fact, the study noted a majority of millennials even agree that technology makes people less human.
