Today

Today

Aaliyah Davis's insight:

Franklin have helped us a little today because the Great depression ended and gave us the things we need and use today. Most people didn't have much money back then and they couldn't afford to lose their money, but now we are getting money and help. Everybody suffered from the Great depression but now people are finally helping others. Him and Obama have changed the world and it have been for the bad sometimes but they have changed the world around. Today we have people fighting in war and getting their rights and everything. Plus we have a president who will lead us just like Franklin did. They both made great changes and they also have made some bad changes.

War Time 2

Aaliyah Davis's insight:

He made a lot of success and was very wealthy plus rich. I don't think he should have made them make the bombs because that sorta started the war when the blow up China. He had a huge family and Im pretty sure he loved them to death. He did get very ill and die and he wife i think she died from old age or something, Im not really sure. They are repairing him to Obama now because Obama have the Obama care which is when he is trying to stop welfare and everything. They saying he was alike because he also had a care when he didn't wanna help people a lot. Him and obama to me is sorta different but also the same because they both wanted to stop them from getting help and seeing help in order to provide. I mean yeah they should  make a group but they should actually allow real people that anti working to cant find a job get some help.

DIBACCO: Obama and FDR: A comparison

DIBACCO: Obama and FDR: A comparison | War Time: President FDR | Scoop.it
President Barack Obama is facing a political situation this year not unlike the one President Franklin D. Roosevelt faced in 1937. Both men had come off sterling re-election victories for their second term, both economies were still plagued with problems of unemployment and slow growth, and both administrations had seen significant victories in Congress. The Democrats in 1937 controlled both houses; in 2012 they increased their majority in the Senate and decreased the Republican margin in the House. Both presidents had major foreign policy issues that remained unresolved.
Aaliyah Davis's insight:

Saying that they are both alike in many ways. For example how Obama is just now running Second president again so did Franklin when the elections was coming. They are saying that both men had to face fears and have to be determined and ready to keep getting to where they are. How Obama have the Obama care and Franklin Roosevelt is also the similarity they have towards the two. Plus they both got reelected when they both went back to get voted again. I think both men have determination and is ready to fight for their things they want in life. But they also is saying that both of them have problems that they need to be resolved.

War Time

Franklin D. Roosevelt : War Time

Aaliyah Davis's insight:

He hade a lot of great things he did. Didn't just make history he also changed it for the better and sorta the worst. Making them good with their sources and being active with people. He helped most of the people that didn't have anything but he also helped those that was in need of help. I think he also did a good thing working with special people that needed his help today. U really should read more about him because he have shown a lot of great successes. Maybe next time you should research him and see if thats a person that u know about in history. Before i was giving him to look over i didn't know hardly anything about him. His wife and him was very successful and very hardworking to provide for themselves. He did have some people make bombs which was bad but he also started the war sorta. Franklin was also working with this plan he made up to help the people that really didn't have help.

Einstein's letter to Roosevelt, August 2, 1939

Aaliyah Davis's insight:

They are talking bout the Atomic Bombs and what they did with them. They are also bringing up the Germany being in War and not winning because they didnt knw how to get the Atomic Bombs or how to Beat them. He thought that they should get some new nuclear weapons to stop the war and stop from losing. and thats how the Pearl Harbor happened.

No President have ever runed for fourth term prior and he was the only one elected. Franklin did have aides and he was sweriously ill during the election. When FDR died Harry Truman helped launch the Nuclear Age when he dropped two Atomice Bombs on Japan. Roosevelt faced alot of elections challenges. The only bad part was that his body was falling apart from the illness
