When I was in St. Louis at the NPRC last week. There was a 5 man government contract team pulling more than 20,000 records of MIA's from WWII. The US Government is finally starting, some 70 years after the war, to try and find and identify those that are missing. Unfortunately the 1973 fire is making their efforts very difficult.  This should have been done many years ago.  -DM
