You might be surrounded by a feast of edible plants, nuts, roots, and berries that can help keep you alive but there is just as much growing in the surrounding wilderness that can hurt or even kill you.
You couldn't get more practical than a video about wild edible plants. This is something we've all heard about but hardly anybody, except these specialists, know anything about.
Check out the videos that come after each plant .... AND after that video plays, look at some of the related videos.
No doubt about it, ESL is a big business. However, it's amazing that more English language learners don't take a more affordable, incremental approach rather than making huge and expensive commitments like these TEFL/TESOL courses.
One such approach is for English language learners to pick up the free, online resource known as gFriend recently launched in Beta Release by Richard McCullough, the Company's CEO.
This carefully design course, based on Richard's several years of successful experience teaching English in China, utilizes multi-sensory learning to teach students 850 basic words and sentence structures to communicate successfully in English.
Experience has shown that students maintain their interest in learning English better when they have the incremental successes that gFriend offers them.
The course is totally free and many English teachers are integrating it into their present curriculum as not only a very usable tool but also as the top part of their sales funnel (i.e. for those who run their on online tutoring businesses online).
Current English teacher can get their replicatable copy here:
On the other hand, students who might want to give it a try can sign up for their own personal edition here (Note: students can actuall sign up in their own language...meaning that the course is actually taught in that language rather than English):
In my humble opion, China's government didn't fundamentally solved their economic problem by their recent stern actions. They just postponed them.
I think that Chinese are gradually realizing this too and as China has no option but to open up their borders for travel in and out and also for foreign investment, the people are, coincidentally, going to realize that the international language of business is English and they're going to associate it with the capitalism and success they (falsely) think everybody in the West enjoys.
Already there are more people in China learning English than there are people speaking it in the US... and that number is only going to become more lopsided as time goes by.
So....ESL will probably become an even hotter job in China. Of course, they don't pay as much there as in S.Korea, or even in Japan. But the cost of living in China is a lot less too and it's just as pretty a country so a few tours of teaching English in China would probably be a very memorable experience.
Meanwhile, for those Chinese and people in other language groups there's this incredible English learning tool called gFriend, recently launched. It really will teach basic English to anybody who takes advantage of its fun, and easy to follow multisensory learning approach...plus it's got some really cool social media features (e.g. a real-time, bilingual chat box).
As Europe burns, Puerto Rico sinks, and China violently gyrates, it’s nice to know there are still some exciting bright spots of growth in the world.
Vietnam is certainly one of them.
The first thing you should know about Vietnam is that it’s a really wond
I don't find this report surprising at all. I spent 4 years in S.Vietnam and I know what they're like. They're smart people and basically pretty nice.
I'm sure that Saigon (it'll always be Saigon to me) has changed a lot...especially judging by this picture but I'd sure love to see it. Simon is right about the food. I loved it.
But I know one thing: English will, for the foreseeable future, be the international language of business...and OPPORTUNITY. And this website is one of the best free ways for a non-English speaker to learn the basics of English: www.wanderingsalsero.gfriend.com
Sign-up is free and the basic course of instruction is free. I'm given to understand by the CEO that they're going to be monetizing the site pretty soon and it'll be a great opportunity for social-minded entrepreneurs to make some money by helping spread the basic free site.
I love videos and stories like this. Abbot and Costello are part of my life. Of course at that time I didn't know all these details. I just enjoyed them.
This is a great video biography that anybody interested in America should see because these guys were part of the 'great' America. The America of 'the people's comedy' and guys who were proud of their craft and did it superbly.

This guy Steve, on the left is VERY good at this game. I like his style. And BTW....for you non English speakers who want to understand English better so you can understand this game: check out my new, free, English learning site at: www.wanderingsalsero.gfriend.com.

This is a 'work in progress' but here's a video on a YouTube channel that I've set up for my new online English coaching business.
This online learning tool/platform is going to be the leading edge of my marketing efforts because (1) it's a tremendous learning tool that new students can use to get going quickly in their English learning journey, and (2) it will help ensure that the paying students that come to me for higher level courses that I want to teach, i.e. Blogging in English, Internet Marketing in English, International Dating in English, Travel English, Email In English, and a few other subjects, will be ready and serious about it.
There will be changes (my) course....of course...but the important thing is to get started. I'll have my WP blog up in the near future too.
What I like about gfriend (www.wanderingsalsero.gfriend.com) is the plans for monetizing it. Exactly in what way it will be monetized is a corporate secret but I'm told (on good authority) that the income opportunity here will be realistically HUGE
Think about it: If you want to make money...you have to be in a market where there IS a lot of money, right?
Do you have any idea how much money is spent by individuals and companies on learning English? How many restaurants do you think there are in popular tourist cities around the world where the owner would like his/her employees to know basic English?
A BUNCH! And gFriend actually has a free section specifically for 'restaurant English'. It also has one for the 'construction business'. How cool is that?

It took me getting laid off in 2008 to realize the opportunities that were available to me as an online entrepreneur. In this post, I recognize 5 people in completely different niches that have all recently took the plunge into entrepreneurship, all on their own...
This is an excellent blog. I once had it bookmarked but somehow lost it Today I found it again and instantly recognized. Blogs like this have that special element of practicality that many of them don't.
Renewed activity has again begun to appear across the Pacific, extending across the North American Craton. A new article is circulating in the Main Stream Me...
I found this video after watching another video talking about the recent article in the New Yorker Magazine talking about an offshore earthquake predicted very soon (i.e. it's overdue bases on historical data). They said they expected a tsunami 700 miles wide by as much as 100' high to hit the Pacific Northwest....
The article was mentioned in intellihub.com which I read frequently.
This video was a 'related video'. It's a bit long and I only looked at the first 11 minutes..but the USGS animation and rendering is very interesting and, for anyone who understand tectonic plates and Bible prophecy, it's not hard to believe.
The Bible talks about massive earthquakes and natural disasters that will shake men's souls in the end times.
The script is being read perfectly by 'mother earch'.
Here's a narration and description, using Google Earth, of exactly where Barranquilla, Colombia is.... including the airport, the city, the Howard Johnson Ho...
I'm slowly but surely getting back into making videos and blogging more. Here's a screen capture I did using SceencastOmatic and Google Earth to show the guys coming down to Sam Smith's Ilovelatins.com Romance Tour where Barranquilla actually is.
For most of them this will be the first time they've ever been to Colombia and some of them are worried that it's some kind of war zone or something. Actually nothing could be further from the truth. Barranquilla and the vast majorithy of places in Colombia are very nice.
For those guys coming on the tour who see this, don't forget to give this url to the girls who might be writing you before you get here: www.wanderingsalsero.gfriend.com . It's a free English language learning tool that will help them learn a lot of English before you get here.

I've always had good luck with the several HP laptops I've had. So, I was interested to read this review. It looks nice, literally, but it does sound like it would do everything I need to do.
My only object might be that I really hate to squint at a smaller screen. I've got a 15" now. And... I wonder if the keys might be marginally smaller on this 14" unit and that would be a factor with me because I'm writing constantly on my present HP.
This unit also doesn't have a CD/DVD player and, as I have several dance instruction DVD's that I want to be able to paly, that might omission might be a deal-preventer for me.
But I've read that playing DVD's and CDs on laptops is sorta going out of style now that memory is so cheap(i.e. the media can just be downloaded/uploaded).
Anyway....I like HP stuff. Their price guarantee is a nice safety net too.
The state prosecutor's office in Venezuela bars a former state governor, Pablo Perez, from holding office, the third such banning this week.
Venezuela is such a beautiful country. If they ever get their politics straigntened out it will make S.America boom like you can't believe. Think about it. In this region you would have Colombia (hailed recently as 'the next El Dorado') Venezuela, and Brazil.... all within a short plane ride from anywhere from Texas to Florida.
Wow! It would really put South America 'on the map' as a tourism region and, it will also make ESL a very 'HOT' job in Venezuela.
If you know anybody who wants to learn basic English now...and do it completely for free....check out my free resource. Sign up in Spanish, English, or one of several other languages under the drop-down menu when you go to this page:
I never thought I'd say it much less think it but, after watching the entire 29 minute video below with Donald Trump and NBC News
I really enjoyed this full interview (30") from Donald Trump. The more I hear him talk the more I like him. I also love the fact that he doesn't take any shit from these press-pukes...(no matter how pretty they are).
As I delve more and more into online ESL resources I have yet to see anything that compares to the gFriend concept. Not only does it address the immediate needs a the larger number of students (i.e. free, basic, and easily accessible) but it's just plan fun. The people I've given the site access to all say they love it. They're available here:
