It sure looks good  I never would have thought about the mustard. I do like grilled-cheese sandwiches but it's been a LONG time since I've had a good one (or a good chicken-fried steak too...they don't make them in Colombia).

Report: Why Men Are Giving Up On Marriage

Marriages in U.S. now at record low - and it's by design!
wanderingsalsero's insight:

Excellent summary of this situation by Kit Daniels from Infowars. He very clearly itemizes the factors and makes what I think is probably a very accurate conclusion about our society. This is just another perspective on the breakup of the home in our society.

Nice. We all should remember that every one of lives in the hand of God every day of our life and we shouldn't be critical of people who have fallen on hard times. Success comes and goes just like the wind.

'The biggest d*** is the dad': Bette Midler on Justin Bieber photos | Wandering Salsero | Scoop.it
Responding to a proud tweet from Justin's father Jeremy, the veteran singer and actress made her feelings of disapproval clear.
wanderingsalsero's insight:

Obviously I don't make anywhere near the amount of money that Justin Beiber does but at least I won't have such a ridiculous life to look back on. I always thought JB was an idiot. When I see him it reminds me of what my friend Becky said back in the mid 70's when I got my first really nice car, a 72 Olds Toronado (which I still think is a very elegant vehicle). I had said something about another vehicle (I don't remember what it was) but she made the comment that 'there's a difference between having money and having class." She was right. Justin only has one .... and it ain't 'class'.

Eye-popping prediction on start of Great Tribulation | Wandering Salsero | Scoop.it
var icx_publication_id = 16633;
var icx_content_id = 2507475;

.icx-toolbar{padding: 0 0 5px 0;}Sensational predictions about the imminent end of times have been sweeping the media in recent months.
There’s been wide, new – even secular – interest in the biblical Shemitah cycle, the blood-moons tetrad and the status of the Middle East.
There’s been a nuclear deal with [...]
wanderingsalsero's insight:

If this is true (and of course it's still just educated speculation) it will have a considerable effect on the attitude of lots of Christians....including me.

It does leave time for the M.E. to get worse but, in that case, I can see where there's still some 'wiggle room' for things to evolve over there.

It also leaves plenty of room for world economics to get a lot worse... which, frankly I find very hard to imagine. Especially the situation with the world economy, deficit speding, fiat currency, central banking, etc.

I also recall that the Bible says there would be various types of spooky and weird things happen on Earth and in the heavens and, although there is some of that going on now, I don't see nearly enough of it to make any major impact on non-believers (who it's really intended for anyway).

I CAN envision the world religious climate getting more bizarre. Especially considering how weird the Pope already is.

I cannot imagine Iran behaving for 7 more years without the world and/or the UN having to do something about it. Or, for that matter, Red China and N.Korea have problems that only a war could solve.

Anyway.....looks like Christians will have to remain at least somewhat serious about their careers for another few years.

wanderingsalsero's insight:

This could be interesting because if the world community develops faith that the Argentines are going to do the right thing, there will be a lot of North American (and other expats) who would probably love to retire in Argentina. Review of Vemma's revised compensation plan

Review of Vemma's revised compensation plan | Wandering Salsero | Scoop.it
wanderingsalsero's insight:

I think what I have to say here could be summed up in two statements:

1. I'm not pro-FTC or pro 'government protection'. Since when has anything they've ever done worked out the way it was supposed to? (Answer: never). The FTC needs to 'butt-out'.

2.  As for Vemma itself...I absolutely do NOT understand why people get involved with companies with compensation plans like this. What an huge crock of shit!! IMHO the single reason companies come out with convoluted formulas like this (which NObody really understands) is so they can play the 'shell-game' with their distributor's commissions. Corollary: This illustrates one of the reasons why Amway has survived and prospered over all these years... they have a basic plan and they stick to it. It is what it is...PERIOD.

As for Vemma, if somebody wants to 'try' Vemma, I think they ought to be allowed to do it. Either way, they'll either get an education and/or make some money (the Vemma product is OK).

I've always thought music was a beautiful gift. I'll be 99% of my followers don't know what Fado is...but they'd love it. My understanding is that 'Fado' is a broad genre of Portugues 'pop' music.

Whatever is is...it's very seductive and addictive. I love it.

But I've found that Portuguese music all has a wonderful, very unique quality.

And when you hear it, you can sorta understand where Brazillian music gets a lot of it's sweetness.

Video shows babies 'SINGING' in the womb

Video shows babies 'SINGING' in the womb | Wandering Salsero | Scoop.it
Scientists at the Institut Marques in Barcelona claim to have shown for the first time that unborn babies can hear by the time they reach 16 weeks gestation, and that they respond as if they're singing.
wanderingsalsero's insight:

I normally don't enjoy pictures of videos of little babies. To me, they look like pieces of chewed gum and I don't think they're 'cute' at all. Puppies....they're cute.

But this video and what it shows...I do think is cute. I can just imagine the little Toscannini or Herbert Karajan in there, shouting at the top of his/her little 'mini-speaker' as he/she 'get's off' on the music.

I'll guarantee you that if I was married and my wife was pregnant, we'd have a carefully planned and executed program to expose that kid to as much music as possible.
