This is not the most entertaining of this group's videos but they're all nice. This group is incredibly full of energy and creativity. I'm going to start following them on my FB. As usual...it looks like the drummers are having the most fun. I'm still trying to figure out if that's a girl leading it though.
I think some of this apparel would be a wise investment for any 'wandering salsero' or Bachatero. I read about his company on Tim Leffels most-excellent travel blog Tim Leffels "Cheapest Destinations" blog. I highly recommend it. AND...these pants and at least one of the shirts are on my 'Must Purchase' list now.
As European leaders squabble about how best to deal with its mounting refugee crisis, tens of thousands of people are continuing to try and reach the Eurozone via the Balkans route.
Yes it's an interesting article but something else I'm starting to realize (I curate a LOT of artiles) is that 'Mail Online' is a very good news publication. Seems like there's something there for everybody.
If you were to visit Portugal and have a traditional Portuguese Grandma as your gastronomic guide, she would feed you a variety of dishes rich in meats and seafood. Traditional Portuguese food tends to be hearty, which is my polite way of saying “quite caloric”. Back in the day and, ...
I had read someplace that Portuguese food tends to taste pretty good but look and sound rather weird. In starting to do some research today (for my trip to Lisbon) I found this site.
Yeah...some of it I wouldn't care for. But some of it I would.
1. Singapore is a city and a country. A collection of islands (one larger, and lots of smaller ones) at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula in Southeast Asia, local empires settled the islands from the 2nd century AD.
I know one thing. You DON'T break the law in Singapore and get away with it. The city is almost so 'straight' and clean as to be boring.
As one of the USA's most liberal (and fun) cities follows artisanal food, coffee, and beer with a legalization of pot, a curious writer dives into its various forms and venues.
Frankly I'd say that the legalization of marijuana is one of the few positive things politicians are doing in the US right now. If they got high more, I suspect they'd care more about their own people and there'd be fewer of our military fighting wars of imperialistic conquest abroad.
Still one of The World's Cheapest Destinations, Thailand is the bargain gateway to Southeast Asia and a great travel value at every budget level.
Thailand will always have a special place in my young man's heart...dating back to my first and subsequent experiences there in my Army days in the Vietnam War (the one that was started by a false-flag incident).
It's gone through a LOT of evolution over the years and you could reasonably say it's become a lot less romantic and safe is some ways. But....
Compared to anyplace else in the world that I know of, there's still something magical about it it. Thai's can be really fucking mean if you get on the wrong side of them but there's really no reason to let that happen. All they want is your money, right?
This guy Tim Leffel, has a great blog and is a perfect example of the best style of internet lifestyle.
