▶ Pastor "Sat" Manila Wedding Pastor - YouTube

wanderingsalsero's insight:

This is really kinda funny...what the heck is a simple video like this doing on a Scoop.it page like this...(even one as chaotic as mine) ? :-)

The answer is that Pastor "Sat" is a friend of mine.  He loves doing weddings, he's done a boatload of them, and he's also long and happily married himself.

I've never been married but I agree with Pastor Sat that any marriage is going to have a lot better chance of success if it's founded on the Word of God and faith in Jesus.

Personally, I'd highly recommend Pastor Sat for anybody in the Manila area who want a memorable, Christian marriage pastor and a ceremony where all the 'right stuff' will be included and nothing will be left out.

wanderingsalsero's insight:

I suspect Isreal suspected this would happen. They're not stupid. The know Obola is a closet Muslim. What surprises me even more is why Obola would lean toward Iran like this considering that it's the Saudi's who carry the mantle for most of the traditional Muslim world...and he is in their pocket totally. They don't like the Iranians. How is he going to pacify them now?

wanderingsalsero's insight:

Well, the fact that 'another one slipped through the cracks' shouldn't come as any surprise to us, should it? This is all the more ludicrous considering how hard it is for real professionals who want to contribute to the country to get here. I've heard it's even hard for tourists to come here.

And personally I don't buy it that they cant find this guy. I mean, it's my understanding that the way they find these other fellow is by very sophisticated ELINT (Electronic Intelligence). So no... I think they want him 'out there' because it keeps 'the game' and their police state going.

Thailand's healthcare is good, in some cases excellent. Medical tourism is big business in the country and saves visitors millions of dollars each year. But prices are climbing, even to the point...
wanderingsalsero's insight:

Scott Mallon has it right about Thailand. It's getting where almost every day, or any day, you read Thai news you read about somebody getting screwed or killed or mugged. Thailand is NOT the land of smiles like it used to be.

But they THINK they're going to be able to push their tourism industry up a lot. I don't think it's going to happen.

What is Africa's most competitive economy? Is it oil-rich Nigeria? No. Perhaps South Africa, the continent's mining powerhouse? Try again.
wanderingsalsero's insight:

I've seen pictures of this place, on Google Images, and it's absolutely beautiful. But I also seem to remember reading that the economy wasn't so good. Apparently I was wrong (at least according to this article).

I am pretty sure that the country has a French colonial heritage so, when you factor that in with all the other cultural influences it has, I'll be the dance and music scene is very interesting. I'm guessing that they do some Kizomba there too.

I'd like to see it someday...especially those beaches the article mentions.

Here's my first post since arriving in Barranquilla, Colombia. I met a very nice fellow in a Duncan Donuts (using the wireless just like I was) who is affiliated with this company.

This is their website. He was telling me about how prominent the company was in their industry and, looking at this website, I can see why. It just goes to show that you never know what you'll learn when you say 'hi' to everybody.

I'm getting closer to being able to do this. I saw this article on what turned out to be a very informative webiste, www.andestransit.com. I posted about it last night too.

Since then, I've gotten an answer back to my question of whether or not a bus trip out of Colombia counts as the 'onward ticket' that American Airlines says they require before they'll let me board the plane in Dallas for Bogota. So...one more little question and I'll probably be buying a bus ticket. Meanwhile, I'm getting closer to actually going back to Colombia.

wanderingsalsero's insight:

Just for grins, I decided to see if Soundcloud.com had anything under the search term 'marching bands' and lo-and-behold I found the Liberty University Marching Band. They're really good although I can't understand why their clips are 'clipped' at the end.

Anyway....here's their home page and here is their SoundCloud URL: https://soundcloud.com/lu-marching-band

If you EVER loved marching bands, youy'll be able to hear that these guys and gals are REALLY powerful. I'll tell you...there's nothing like being part of something this big and powerful and sonorous. Marching down the field or the street, with the drums driving you forward, the trombones giving it the body, one or two lines of basses in the back, and the celestas adding some nice top punctuation.....it's incredible.

wanderingsalsero's insight:

Without getting too specific or technical, I remember reading years ago that there was lots of really harmful stuff in many, if not most or all, of these drinks. This is going to come as great marketing collateral for people in MLM comanies (like Vemma, MonaVie, et.al.) who sell healthy alternatives to these beverages.

This is a BIG market though. If I was going to get into MLM and wanted something people understand, I'd strongly consider a company like Vemma.

Support Waning, Romney Decides Against 2016 Bid

Support Waning, Romney Decides Against 2016 Bid | Wandering Salsero | Scoop.it
By not pursuing a third presidential bid, Mitt Romney frees up scores of donors and operatives who had been awaiting his decision.
wanderingsalsero's insight:

I have two or three thoughts here.

First of all, I can see here the the NWO money doesn't want a Christian in office. They don't want ANY kind of Christian....even a Morman.

Second of all....who says the election is going to be an 'either or' thing...e.g. Bush vs. Romney, or Clinton vs. Bush, or Clinton vs. whoever? I think the public is going to be very ripe for a strong economic message but the problem is that most of the 'messages' (AKA: platforms) in the past have been lies.

It's also very possible that the public might not want another member of the corrupt Bush Dynasty or the Clinton Dynasty. I think Rand Paul would probably have a good chance but the other big factor will be....the presstitute media.

A big factor will be who they promote and you know that most of them won't be 'for' anybody with any libertarian leanings....even assuming the election isn't rigged (which is a high probability).

And, just as an aside, don't be surprised to see attempts to stifle the alternative media during the election process. It continues to grow in influence and technical capability.

Remember how 'we', in the US, used to laugh at Russian elections where their candidates won by 90+%, and we'd say, "That could never happen here!" Well....it damn sure could.

Open Jihad Declared in Egypt Following State Dept. Meeting with Muslim Brotherhood-Aligned Leaders | Wandering Salsero | Scoop.it
The Muslim Brotherhood called for “a long, uncompromising jihad” in Egypt just days after a delegation of the Islamist group’s key leaders and allies met with the State Department, according to
wanderingsalsero's insight:

Somebody who doesn't see or think past the obvious might look at this article and think, "Ahh, it's great that the State Department is having some success in getting together with these people!" But I see another scenario below the surface.

Those supposedly moderate Arabs talking to 'us' are just trolling for cash. They all know, or think, that the has loads of it. Which of course we do in the sense that we just print it whenever we need it. But those Arabs know that we do still have a lot of technology and other assets that we're stupid enough to put every other place in the world except where it really ought to go...i.e. right in our own country.

So, they're just playing us for patsies like most other countries have. And we'll get screwed in the end again. Don't forget that the people negotiating from our side are from the same line of crooks and thieves who go us INTO this debacle because of their lack of morals and skill.

This 16-Year-Old Built A Tiny House On Wheels

This 16-Year-Old Built A Tiny House On Wheels | Wandering Salsero | Scoop.it
Few high-schoolers build their own homes. Hay was only 16 when he built this 130 square foot house on a utility trailer.
wanderingsalsero's insight:

I was browsing this blog from a guy I recently met online and this post caught my eye. I've always thought 'tiny houses' were cool and the fact that this one is being built by a 16 year old young man makes this one even more 'American' in spirit.

I don't consider myself very handy with my hands but this is the kinds of stuff that everybody should know about....as long as the government would stay out of their way.

If and when this guy ever gets married, he's going to be an excellent provider because of these skills he's learning and the attitude that he has even thus far developed. His parents should be very proud of him.

Page 1 of 2 - Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposes Multiple Visa, 1 Year 3000 thb - Sunbelt Asia - posted in Thai visas, residency and work permits: Not sure if posted already?

The legislature is currently reviewing a proposal from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to allow all foreign visitors the ability to apply for a “Multiple Visa” which would allow visitors to stay for six months for 2,000 baht or one year for 3,000 baht. The details of the visa have yet to be reveal...

If this new law actually passes, Thailand is going to be buried in the riff-raff from the world. I can see the idea of making longer stays than what is presently allowed, and for keeping it reasonably affordable....but 2000 Thai baht is only 60$US and that's ridiculous.

However, I can understand that it's like the last quote in this article where the guy said they Joel might possibly not be doing anything wrong legally...just ethically.

Either way, I'm a friendly guy too but Joel smiles too much for me and honestly I really don't think Jesus ever intended that any of his ministers here 'in this life' should live as high on the hog as Joel does. I wouldn't touch his ministry with a 10 foot pole.

A relative of a missing passenger has reportedly received a text message from an unknown sender, stating that the plane made an emergency landing and all passengers are alive.

Well..that certainly sounds like a pretty sophisticated communication system to me? They're flying a multi-million dollar plane, the plane disappears but apparently makes an emergency landing somewhere, the company stock was probably about to 'tank' and the CEO commit suicide, relatives were getting ready to storm the airline's offices...and somebody finally finds out what's going on via a text message on a smart phone (i.e. "SOCIAL MEDIA)??!!

It didn't go anywhere. Alex says there's credible evidence that there's a lot of it in the US that the feds have kept hidden. He also says it's still rampaging in Africa (I wasn't aware of that but...Africa's a long way away).

I still think that an Ebola epidemic would be the single easiest and seemingly non-partisan excuse for the feds to declare martial law.
