Here is a hard hitting dose of perspective of what unsustainable demand looks like. Warning, you may have a feeling of emptiness inside after watching. It's a clip from the phenomenal documentary Samsara, directed by Ron Fricke, who also made Baraka.

Samsara is a Sanscrit word that means "the ever turning wheel of life" the filmmakers use this as a theme to study disasters, industrial complexes, culture, etc.
