Somehow i can't stop thinking, "Next step, Dr. Frankenstein" - It's maybe not rationeal thinking but i find this so scaring. Imagine if it was you on the table and the robot arms start moving above you - huuuu it's freaking scaring ;-)
Szabolcs Kósa's comment,

I agree this can be scary, however you can expect completely autonomous surgical robots to appear in the very near future. that will be much more scarier than a human controlled one, that's for sure

Here is a great artikel worth reading if you have anything to do with storytelling or just love it. @safegaard

The Maker is a short film produced by Christopher and Christine Kezelos of Zealous Creative. Follow this little creatures' journey as he "races against time to make the most important and beautiful creation of his life." It's so touching you might burst. The future America is an irradiated waste land. On its East Coast, running from Boston to Washington DC, lies Mega City One- a vast, violent metropolis where criminals rule the chaotic streets. The only force of order lies with the urban cops called "Judges" who possess the combined powers of judge, jury and instant executioner. Known and feared throughout the city, Dredd (Karl Urban) is the ultimate Judge, challenged with ridding the city of its latest scourge -- a dangerous drug epidemic that has users of "Slo-Mo" experiencing reality at a fraction of its normal speed.
