Un retratista del FBI, quien sin ver cómo era realmente cada mujer, les pidió que se describieran a sí mismas. El tipo de ese modo las retrataba en base a su descripción. El resultado son dos retratos por cada persona. Uno terrible, con las descripciones hechas de ellas mismas, y otro mucho más digno y realista con la descripción de una tercera. El gran problema era el énfasis que daban a ciertos pequeños defectos. “Mi nariz es gigante”, “Tengo una frente muy amplia”, “Mi cara es redonda”, etc, etc.

I have been using text to speech almost exclusively for reading articles on the web, newspapers, and courese reading for a course in Leadership I am taking at Case Western Reserve University. I love the e-readers ( Read and Write Gold; Kindle, and Audio books) because I can jack up the speed and read with my ears as fast as non dyslexics who are fluent readers read with their eyes. We need to understand the 'cost' of eye reading to dyslexic students even when they "graduate" from OG or Wilson: the burden of phonological processing is too high in terms of fatigue. If we don't make the technology more available and acceptable in schools we will deny intelligent students with print challenges the opportunity to study in college, graduate or professional schools. I still read paper books. Right now I am reading A light in August by Faulkner. It is on my night stand and it is a wonderful if slow experience for me. For some, print will never 'fall away' and allow for effortless decoding and pholonological recoding.--Lou

"Not only do we have news that RAW video at 24fps is possible on the Canon 5D Mark III, but we now know it’s possible to get a full 1920 x 1080 image with 1000x speed cards. The first samples were possible by cropping the image to 1920 x 820, but g3gg0 from Magic Lantern has unlocked a way to get the entire image — the full 1920 x 1080. This makes the Mark III the first full-frame (36mm x 24mm) camera to shoot RAW video at 1080p. Also, now that we’re capable of getting really high-quality custom resolutions, a whole new world has potentially opened up for anamorphic shooting with the camera." ...
