Okay, I'm not posting this because it has any particular revelatory merit, but rather to question the nature and severity of these so-called "creative blocks". Let me tell you, if your writer's block can be solved by a cup of tea and a doodle, you do not have writer's block. Likewise to all these "I did a crossword and my brain popped back into place" type of answers. Good for you if it happens, but you didn't really have a block to begin with...you had more of a stop light.
