The Leap Motion controller has always looked awesome, but its performance didn't quite live up to the promise. A software update is about to fix that, making every Leap Motion controller out there better in an instant.

Long time readers will remember my early Leap Motion scoops.

Leap raised a ton of money, promised a lot, but surprise surprise didnt really live up to the hype. 

They've made some improvements and once again the videos look great. I'm yet to try this new update. I'm hopeful. 
Would love to hear from anyone who has used it first hand.

Leap Motion announced today that three weeks after launching, owners of the device have already downloaded over a million apps. In addition, Leap’s developer community has doubled, and the company has seen 25,000 new downloads of its software development kit that programmers use to build new apps.
