Fascinating Design Evolution of Breakfast Cereals

Fascinating Design Evolution of Breakfast Cereals | Visual*~*Revolution | Scoop.it

It is always fascinating to see the way advertising and product design has evolved over the years. Like so many other design aesthetics, cereal boxes have gotten smoother, more “3-d” and more, well, ecstatic across the board — characters who used to smile contentedly now invariably have their mouths wide open in wild excitement at the sugary flakes they are about to consume. The colors have become garishly bright (though in some cases, we admit, more appealing), and everything is just so much shinier. Perhaps to hide the less then nutritious contents!

Respecting Your Elders takes on new meaning with these uber stylish ladies in their 80‘s & 90‘s-fab film coming out this summer

Infantilism may be a fashion perennial, but if the blogger Ari Seth Cohen had his druthers, every season would be a senior moment. As the founder and editor of Advanced Style chronicles the stylish and often eccentric get-ups of a crowd that’s largely ignored by the fashion system. “My eyes have always been drawn to older people,” said Cohen, 28. “And from a style point of view, I find them more interesting because they are of an age where they don’t have to impress anyone and can wear what they want.”

I am in LOVE with~Spiritual, Effervescent Energy Artist Djembe and Canvas~ | Visual*~*Revolution | Scoop.it

L.A. Painter DJEMBE-CANVAS explains his name...

DJEMBE represents rhythm, music enhances my color harmonics. CANVAS embodies expression, energies of colors elevate my spirit. As DJEMBE & CANVAS, my paintings are about reaching balance through these two elements.

I'm an intuitive painter solely because I'm a music lover. I improvise my color approach through how rhythm moves me. I freehand spiritual paintings with positive, constructive means. Each piece is painted in layers, bringing about 3-Dimensional depth to the colors you see. Sigh...I am in love...
