Rape Culture Round Up » Sociological Images | Visual Culture in Art: Understanding the Culture | Scoop.it
Katharine Norman's insight:

I was unable to ignore this unconventional “culture round up” for a couple of reasons. This article meets every criteria I’ve looked for in curating this collection. It’s hard to deny the accuracy of it, or it’s visual documentation. Just because it may not be a conventional “culture”- that surely doesn’t mean it is not valid. I believe exploring out of the norm ideas, that that’s what we are after here in the world of art- and as human beings with the ability to accept and grow with new knowledge. You will not get the full idea of this culture without viewing it's Pinterest board.
