The Cultural Construction of Beauty

TED Talks Cameron Russell admits she won “a genetic lottery”: she's tall, pretty and an underwear model. But don't judge her by her looks.

Potentially, this looks quite interesting.  Freemium model, the free version looks robust enough to at least evaluate the product adequately.  Interesting that they suggest contacting them for details on LMS integration among other things.

Touchcast is an app for creating video content which links to various web based and embedded resources and media. It enables the user to create a video commentary which guides the viewer through various websites and study resources and gives a commentary of what these resources contain. At the same time the user can add supporting images to their video to support understanding of what they are saying. Great for creating flipped learning.

Terry Yelmene's curator insight, August 29, 2013 11:47 AM

Knowledge is equal parts contructivism (conceptual) and connectivism (social) and to the degree that communication can be broadened and enhanced to affect both at the same time, knowledge devlopment becomes more enabled. Touchcast is the kind of tech development that could have just such an effect in this arena.  Ya.. this could be... fantastic!

This looks very useful but for learning&teaching or production? Not sure - further investigation required. Also: anyone know how much this costs?
