From the article: The business of training and ensuring online instructors are prepared for the online environment is not one-stop shopping.

It is not a single effort by school administration, but an ongoing process that includes use of initial training of instructional best practices, mentoring, coaching, implementation PLCs, and ongoing feedback and evaluation. Establishing a support system and learning community provides instructors with the tools to teach in a non-traditional setting where a focus on isolation is counterproductive to teacher knowledge and student success.

| Digital Learning, Technology, Education | Scoop.it

How To Overcome The iPad Learning Curve - Teachers With Apps

How To Overcome The iPad Learning Curve - Teachers With Apps | Digital Learning, Technology, Education | Scoop.it

This has actually been the case for numerous generations. When televisions were introduced to schools and kindergartens, many people were outraged at the invasion of technology into the educational process but of course, television became an integral part of the learning process. It is therefore fair to say that when used properly, tablets such as the iPad can be used effectively in the classroom."
