From a very old Vermont estate, I found this dress at the bottom of a box of old linens. After washing and resetting the lace collar, what we have now is a wonderful calico dress for a large china head doll. The pink circles are made up of tiny circles. Beautifully tailored by treadle with hand sewing, it has the slope shoulders, narrow waist and the low inset thin arms for the china doll's skinny lower arms. Pretty handmade lace adorn the wrists which match the collar, The waist has tiny match stick pleats and lovely wide tuck pleats run from the chest down to the waist. The top of the chest is faced on the inside with another linen. On the very full skirt there are 6 rows of tucks. When I pulled the dress out of the box at the estate, incredibly, I found the waist was held together with a mourning pin that contains woven hair. This burnished copper fondue pot saucepan comes with a brass food warmer stand. Pots like these were popular during the 1960s and 70s. The height of the set is 8 3/4" overall. The pot with lid measures 4 3/4" tall and is 6 1/2" in diameter at the widest point. The interior of the pot is metal lined. $22.50 plus S/H The handle is a hard plastic material and it is attached to the pot with a brass plate and copper rivets. This set is in very good used vintage condition. The brass warmer was originally coated with shellac to keep the brass bright. Well, it didn't work and it was quite patinaed when I purchased it. We removed as much of the shellac as we could and polished it. There is some remaining to the rim of the burner. When the pot is in place, you don't see it. I have taken this into consideration when pricing. For more pictures and ordering information click this link.

Benedict Manufacturing Company, which is well known for their ice cream scoops. These cups were a part of the Indestructo line that was developed in the 1920s for soda fountains, hotels, restaurants etc. The name was intended to suggest the items were especially durable. The Benedict company went out of business in 1945 so these pieces would date from the 1920s - 1945. The bottom of the holders are marked “Benedict Indestructo Chromium Plate Made in USA 1095”. The bottom of the inserts are marked “Benedict Indestructo Beauty Cup” and these inserts are not normally found! The price is for all 3 pieces.

This is a vintage chalkware Bosson Head Brettonne woman wall hanging wall plaque. The head measures 5 and 1/2 inches high by 7 inches wide and is 3 and 1/2 inches deep. Amazing 1989 Rowe pottery salt glaze crock with lid in pristine condition! Large and heavy! Rowe pottery is still in existence and their past pieces have become quite collectible and pricey. The piece alone weighs almost 7 pounds. With packaging, etc. shipping weight should be around 9 to 10 pounds. Please note that the piece is a little darker than what is pictured due to that nasty camera flash ;-). The piece comes in magnificent, vintage condition with no chips, cracks, etc. and is very clean! There are some areas that my camera flash picked up that looks like a little salt glaze loss due to use. But I can't see this with the naked eye. This is a interesting and very pretty antique art nouveau fan.The heavy parchment peacock feather is die cut and pierced to look like lace. They feathers are hand painted in detail, and gilded. The tines appear to be horn or tortoise, they do not look like celluloid to me. 8 pretty pink lacy leaves and a loop at the bottom with a tiny nail, this is a nice and perhaps rare antique fan. http://www.rubylane.com/item/799758-000193
The Pentax P30 t was introduced in 1990. It's been film tested. It's a really nice camera that has full manual controlor aperture priority (marked with a big green A on the lens dial),meaning, you set the f-stops and the camera suggests a matching shutter speed. There is a built in light meter in the viewfinder. It's very bright andeasy to use. I've installed 2 new LR44 button batteries to powerthe light meter. You can also use SR44 batteries and I'vebeen told that these last longer.Turn the camera off when not in use. I forgot and used up the first set of batteries I installed, very, very quickly! The camera is in excellent condition, as is the Pentax 50mm1:2 prime lens. The camera is manual focus only. The body shows minimal wear. The camera body is heavy and coated with a rubberized type, easy to grip surface.I found this camera a joy to use and it's capable of taking reallynice photos. It would make an excellent student camera! The camera comes with a pentax lens cap, sturdy neck…
