Vini Sgaly is a small organic wine companyy based near the southern Le Marche villages of Ortezzano and Monterinaldo with over twenty hectares of land of which ten hectares are given over to vines.
The culture of wine making at Vini Sgaly goes all the way back to the 1800's and the grandfather Antonio Sgalippa who used to cultivate vines at his farm in the nearby village of Monte Vidon Combatte, with Mario and Rosa Sgalippa laying the foundations of today's buisness in the 1960's when they bought land near Ortezzano and also Monterinaldo.
In the late 1990's the present owners decided to concentrate on making wines by using production methods which had a low environmental impact, and in 2004 the farm was classified as a farm which only used totally organic methods of vinification.
In 2005 a new building was constructed containing modern offices and the winery was established just outside the village of Ortezzano, which is inland from the beautiful Le Marche city of Fermo and the Adriatic costal resorts of Pedaso and Porto san Giorgio.

L'azienda Vini Sgaly è una piccola realtà che si trova nel sud delle Marche nelle vicinanze di Ortezzano e Monterinaldo, per un totale di venti ettari di terreno di cui la metà votati alla coltivazione della vite.
La tradizione vinicola dell'azienda Sgaly risale all'ottocento con Antonio Sgalippa che allora coltivava le viti nella sua fattoria vicino Monte Vidon Combatte, con Mario e Rosa Sgalippa che dagli anni sessanta portano avanti l'attività del nonno.
Verso la fine degli anni novanta gli attuali proprietari hanno deciso di concentrarsi su una produzione a basso impatto ambientale e dal 2004 l'azienda è classificata come totalmente biologica nei metodi di coltivazione e produzione.
Nel 2005 l'azienda è stata ammodernata e la vigna spostata nell'attuale collocazione poco fuori Ortezzano, nella zona interna del fermano.

We first were introduced to the Tenuta di Saragano by our good friend June who knew the owners and had arranged for us to visit the estate in 2011 for a wine and olive oil tasting, after which we have imported small quantities of their wonderful olive oil and had some of their lovely Montefalco Rosso and  Sagrantino di Montefalco red wines at tastings.
The estate is located in the Italian region of Umbria and lies south of Perugia and just to the north of the city of Todi, it is spread out over many hectares and there are several smaller farms and vineyards located throughout this large and beautiful estate
Tenuta di Saragano has been certified by the Italian ICEA Institute and their production uses totally organic methods of horticulture and viniculture. As well as producing great wines the estate also produces a superb organic olive oil and various foodstuffs including lentils, barley and broad beans.

Abbiamo conosciuto la Tenuta di Saragano grazie alla nostra mica June che conosce bene il proprietario ed ha organizzato per noi nel 2011 una visita alla tenuta per una degustazione del loro olio e vino. Da allora abbiamo importato piccole quantità del loro olio e del loro vino, Montefalco Rosso e Sagrantino di Montefalco, per alcune degustazioni durante l'anno passato.
L'azienda si trova in Umbria, precisamente in una zona a sud di Perugia e nord di Todi, ed occupa una superficie molto estesa che ospita diverse fattorie e vigne, votate alla produzione dei loro prodotti.
La Tenuta di Saragnano è stata certificata nel 2011 dall'Istituto ICEA  come interamente biologica tanto per la produzione agricola che specificatamente vinicola. Oltre alla produzione di diverse varietà di vini, l'azienda è anche conosciuta per la produzione di un olio extra vergine di oliva biologico ed alcuni legumi e cereali come lenticchie, orzo e fave.

Marsovin have been producing their wines on the Islands of Malta and Gozo since the company was founded by the Cassar family in 1919 and was incorporated as a family run company in 1956.
At present the company has five estates totalling twenty hectares of land which is owned by Marsovin and the Cassar family, this land exclusively given over to the production of high quality wines, with another 130 hectares of land contracted to local Maltese and Gozitan farmers to produce wine for the company.
Since 1956 the company has expanded and modernised their production building a reputation for high quality  and expert wine making, and has in that time become the main producer and exporter of wines in Malta.
The ideal climatic condition on the Maltese Islands together with stringent quality controls and expert vinification processes provide an outstanding level of quality over their full range of wines.

Marsovin produce vino nelle isole di Malta e Gozo fin da quando la compagnia è stata fondata dai Cassar nel 1919 ed è stata poi successivamente inglobata nel business famigliare nel 1956.
Ad oggi la compagnia possiede cinque tenute per un totale di venti ettari di terreno posseduti da Morsovin e dalla famiglia Cassar. L'intero terreno è interamente dedicato alla produzione di vino di alta qualità, insieme ad altri 130 ettari a contratto con fattorie locali tanto di Malta che di Gozo, per la coltivazione delle uve da destinare poi alla produzione dell'azienda.
Fin dal 1956 la compagnia lavora costantemente per espandere e modernizzare la produzione, costruendo una reputazione di esperti e raffinati produttori di vino, ed ad oggi la compagnia e diventata pa principale produttrice di vino di Malta.
Le condizioni climatiche ideali di queste isole insieme con controlli di qualità severissimi ed un esperto processo di vinificazione, portano un livello eccezionale di qualità nella produzione di tutta la loro linea di vini.
