Villa Cora Grand Hotel celebrates art and elegance in its new promotional video.
The Villa Cora Grand Hotel is an aristocratic residence built in 1868 during the period in which Florence was the Capital of Italy by Gustavo Adolphus Baron Oppenheim as a gesture of love for his bride, Eugenia Fenzi, that belonged to one of the most influential family of Florence
The hotel reopened in the early 2011 after a detailed three-years of extensive renovation work have allowed its architectural and artistic treasures, previously dulled by the passage of time, to shine once more. The Villa and its centuries-old park are now more appealing than ever before.
The main Villa has 30 suites and rooms, set over four floors, and decorated in a variety of styles inspired by famous past visitors, such as the Japanese emperor Hirohito, to whom the imperial suite is dedicated, Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III, with her love of roses, and by the Orient and 50s America. The 14 rooms of the Villino Eugenia are decorated in a range of heritage styles. Finally there is La Follie: a small apartment at the edge of the park with just two rooms, for those seeking total privacy. A SPA and a small beauty and wellness centre, a stunning heated outdoor pool overlooking, two restaurants, a Cigar Room, a roof terrace and a shuttle service complete our offer.
We have also the pleasure to inform you that since 1st January 2013 we are part of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux Association distinguished by its very high concept of pure luxury.
In common with princes, Pashas and great artists such as Tchaikovsky who were once a guest at the Villa Cora Grand Hotel, We would love to have the opportunity of showing you the splendour of the newly restored Villa and for you to share the excitement of the journey we have taken in restoring it.
