Yes Keepvid will do this but in the case of Youtube (at least) this action breaches the Terms of Use of the Youtube website. Could be justified for educational use in circumstances such as when a school blocks Youtube.

Knowmia - Thousands of Video Lessons on Every Subject

Knowmia - Thousands of Video Lessons on Every Subject | videosforlearning | Scoop.it

"Search thousands of tutorial videos on any subject from the worlds best teachers. Before you know it, you'll know it."

Knowmia is a new offering from the designers of the flip video camera - currently it has a library of 7,000 videos on a variety of subjects. It is aimed at USA high school audiences, but some of the higher level videos may be useful for undergraduate New Zealand students and courses or pre-university foundation courses.

The videos generally fall between one and ten minutes in duration, and currently hail predominantly from YouTube and Vimeo. Knowmia has recruited its own teachers, who work with the team to review existing video content before it’s posted as well as add supplementary content, like notes and quizzes, and tag videos with keywords to help categorize them by topic and skill level.
