Game your Video: Stop Editing Videos, Start Gaming Them

Game your Video: Stop Editing Videos, Start Gaming Them | Video for Learning | Scoop.it

This new app for iPhone 4 and 4S offers an interesting and creative approach to video editing by allowing you to control and add effects to a video clip in real time as it is played. Even more interestingly the tools can also be used whilst you record a live video sequence.

The special effects include motion, video and audio effects including, slow motion, zoom and reverse,  and voice over and voice transformation. The video filters include B&W, old film and colour moods.

I think there's is a lot of creative potential to explore and  play with here, for educators. Hopefully interesting examples will be posted to YouTube, et al soon.

Now in App store for £1.49

OntoGame - Games for Semantic Content Creation

OntoGame - Games for Semantic Content Creation | Video for Learning | Scoop.it

OntoGame’s goal is to build games, (some with You Tube videos) that can be used to create semantic content.

Because this process often can not be solved automatically, it requires the help of humans. Games are a good way to wrap up and hide thecomplex process of semantic content creation and can attract a great number of people. Check out our games here!

In cooperation with the INSEMTIVES project we develop several casual games for adults and children likewise that should encourage the creation of semantic content.
