Aujourd’hui l’e-commerce représente environ 6% des ventes luxe, en hausse de plus de 50% par rapport à 2013. D’ici 2020, ce chiffre est amené à croître, au moins à doubler voire à tripler : 18% des ventes proviendront de l’e-commerce. L’e-commerce n’explique la croissance qu’en partie : les clients cross-canal feront avancer le marché en augmentant leurs dépenses chaque année.

Les boutiques continueront donc à être un levier indispensable au succès, et l’opposition entre boutiques et e-boutiques n’aura plus lieu d’être, chaque canal devant développer ses atouts propres et jouer la complémentarité.

The above scenario is one we've seen many times. And few of us can actually say they've never been guilty of the "share-without-reading" crime.


In this post on CMS Wire (to which he asked me tro contribute), Dennis Shiao gives a refreshing analysis on what the value of sharing content actually is and how genuine content curation enhances it to deliver much more value. 


Let's admit it: social media puts pressure on us to try to be everywhere and fill all the newsfeeds we can. With a bit of organization and the right tools, it can be done and we can alleviate that pressure. But if we apply rules mechanically, we run the risk of losing sight of the big picture. The more content is created and shared, the more we have an opportunity to be selective, apply judgement and add value.


That opportunity is called content curation.

Apparently this new study shows that content clarity is highly correlated with its impact and effectiveness.


The clearer, the more efficient. 


Easier said than done though as apparently most brands fail at delivering a simple and clear enough message to get an impact.

J'ai enfin compris pourquoi je n'arrive pas facilement à tisser des liens solides en amitié. Pourquoi je suis longtemps restée distante, discrète, effacée, n'osant me confier. J'ai saisi pourquoi il était difficile pour moi d'entrer dans une relation intime.
