While I can see the point behind vegans and how their diet restrictions can severly hurt their bodies I just can't see the same situations with vegetarians. Being a vegetarian myself I know that I feel absolutely fantastic! Eating soy supplemented meats gives me all of the protein that I need with less than 75% of the fat that real meat has. On top of that since i've started this vegetarian diet I don't feel like I'm laying down to go to sleep on an overly full stomach. I have friends who have been vegetarian since I met them in the second grade and they're the healthiest people that I know and they have never had any health issues. I think this article kind of makes it seems like being vegan or vegetarian WILL kill you and that it IS bad for you when that isn't the case for everyone, you just have to eat the correct foods.
