Did you know you can make your own delicious healthy cheese at home or buy new varieties of plant based cheese in your grocery market? Why would you want to make your own when you can buy dairy cheese, you may ask. 

 

Cheese is one of the most acid producing foods. Animal based foods have been associated with increased asthma risk. Removing eggs and dairy from asthmatic children's lungs has been shown to improve lung function in as few as eight weeks. This information comes from Dr Michael Greger "How Not to Die".

 

Cheese and other dairy products contain hormones, especially growth hormones. A 2015 meta-analysis study found that high intakes of dairy products: milk, low-fat milk, and cheese appear to increase total prostrate cancer risk.

 

Here's an interesting fact for you to ponder. Dairy products are a leading cause of excessive gas which is caused by poor digestion of the milk sugar lactose.

 

Health tips:  Organic plant based real whole food makes the best non-dairy food bar none. From cheeses, nut milks, desserts, mains to sides; you will eat to live and live well you will.

 

With so many people jumping on the plant based wagon, isn't it time for you to get your hands dirty growing your organic garden or ordering from online CSAs, joining a food co-op, or shopping at Farmer's Markets? Take back your health, save money by not having to run to the doctor or E.R., and live zestfully into your 90's and beyond.
