Francesca Zambotti discusses the use of IWB in primary school classrooms.  He highlights that schools need to use technologies to innovate the ways of teaching and learning.  Some teachers argue that using technology and IWB takes too long to prepare.  Zambotti asserts that teachers need to have a clear intent on what they want to achieve during the lesson.  Teachers can achieve their goal by using simple materials such as a photo -  it's an easy way for students to interact with multimedia.

Dreambox provides a set of free maths tools to use on IWB.  There are 25 flash-based interactive resources to use.  Games include Numbers 1-10, 1-20, Matching Number pairs, Ordering Fractions and fraction addition.   These can help teachers connect students with ways to make sense of Maths.
