I hadn't looked closely at the marking guides...a bit like a rubric but it also allows the ability to have a customisable set of feedback comments to add, a bit like Grademark but less sophisticated (they are only added to the whole assignment, not to particular points in the assignment as in Grademark).  These are set up at the assignment level but templates can be created to share them more widely. Wonder if any staff will find this useful?

Conditional topics are definitely something that some of our users will find immediately find useful and the 2.4 feature of the conditions being able to be linked to user profile fields might make for even more interesting possibilities.

Just as an aside, I like the "scrolly" course terminology.

Always interesting to see what different places highlight out of the list of new features.  In this case some of the changes to the assignment module around workflow look potentially interesting, being able to lock assignment submissions, set cut off dates and grant extensions looking like interesting feature settings.  Also of interest are things like the offline grading spreadsheet functionality.
