Will Clickable Paper make the QR Code obsolete?
Connie Wise's insight:

Free app Clickable Paper--video shows app in action

The technology lets you click on an image without zooming in on a code or logo first. After clicking, you're directed to a range of options, including an Amazon link, a YouTube video and a website; it also lets you tweet or share the information on Facebook. That's a big improvement from QR Codes, which send you to one dedicated site. You can also lose the ugly, increasingly anachronistic code itself.

A Great Guide on Teaching Students about Digital Footprint | Using iPads in Classrooms | Scoop.it

Have you ever Googled yourself ? Have you ever checked your virtual identity? Do you know that you leave a digital footprint every time you get online? Do you know that whatever you do online is accumulated into a digital dossier traceable by others ? These and several other similar questions are but the emerging tip of the sinking iceberg. One that is packed full of concerns related to issues of our online identity and privacy issues.

Very interesting activity for Common Core:

Reading Standards for Literature, Integration of Knowledge and Ideas, Standard 7, Grade 7. Compare and contrast a written story, drama, or poem to its audio, filmed, staged, or multimedia version, analyzing the effects of techniques unique to each medium (for example, lighting, sound, color, or camera focus and angles in a film).

Reading Standards for Informational Text, Integration of Knowledge and Ideas, Standard 7, Grades 11–12. Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of using different mediums (for example, print or digital text, video, multimedia) to present a particular topic or idea.
