In Google Slides there is a comment count on the side of the flimstrip. Notice the number of comments left on each slide to make sure feedback was given.

Alice Keeler suggests using Google Slides to get students to comment on the work of other students. This can be a little fraught but if it is introduced in a respectful manner and if students must log in to comment, then it can be a useful method of peer feedback.

This website provides a template that can be used by students to evaluate each other's contribution to group work One issue I have noticed in group assessment tasks is not all students contribute evenly. By introducing a peer evaluation students know that their contribution to the group will count and be valued. Although it initially looks complicated to set up it is a template that can be adapted through Google forms.

Today, we will begin opening up Google Classroom to users without a G Suite for Education account. From homeschools to tutoring centers to adult education, teachers and learners in many different environments will soon be able to use Classroom.

Finally, Google Classroom is available for use beyond schools. At this stage you can only join classes but in the next few weeks you should be able to create classes. Great for us where the school admin is not interested in setting up a school account.
